My cousins took me out for a scenic drive outside of the city today.  I didn’t get to see much of this popular mountain; it was freezing and pouring up there. We wanted to go see the calla lily farm, but we were a few weeks too early, the field was still bare. Instead, we drove around taking a look at the lily farm and around the hot springs then headed back down the mountain.

Tan Shui

It’s cold, it’s windy, it’s rainy… didn’t have a good experience here but I think on a better day it would’ve been beautiful. Right next to the ocean you can fish, take a short cruise, walk along the pedestrian bridge and eat at the many shops here.  We stopped by a café for their cake and tea hour.  You get your choice of cake and tea or coffee, each of us got something different.  We sat by the window but the view wasn’t that great since it was raining, but I can imagine this place to be great for dates on a better day.
