Kohikan Cafe

A few more of my mom’s friends wanted to see her, so we went to a café. They had a menu full of delicious looking coffees and teas. They also serve food but I did not get a chance to try them. I ordered the Lavender Coffee which tasted okay, nothing special. I spent quite a lot of time spitting out the lavender flowers they sprinkled on top of the whipped cream. It looked really neat but the flowers were a bit too strong for my taste once you bite into them.  As an afterthought, I don’t think I was suppose to eat them =P  But it distracted me while the ‘girls’ chatted about the good old days.  I thought about my friends back home and could easily imagine myself in a scene exactly like the one in front of me in 20 yrs….~sigh I’m getting old…

As we were leaving I spotted a cute tea set in their display case.  Unbelievable, they were only $5 each, I bought two sets of tea pots and cups.  By now I’ve collected 5 sets of tea sets to bring back.  Heh heh, getting greedy, I’d be lucky if none of them break on the way back.
