Jiao Ban Shan

This is a beautiful mountain near Tao Yuan. Up in the mountain there is a large park where you can have a picnic.  A short 25 minute walk on a paved path will take you to the famous plank bridge held up by cable wires. The walk across the bridge is a lot of fun since the bridge sways with the wind. But no worries, it is quite safe because there are wiring all around to keep people from falling off.

On the drive up to the park, there are a number of stores that sell mushrooms and dried flowers meant for teas. Almost every store had bags and bags of mushrooms of all shapes and sizes.  We stopped to buy some mushrooms and I picked up a dozen or so types of flower teas.
